Question help

my friends 95 TA is running like ****. its overheating, and stalls constiantly at normal operating temps. its supercharged and does not have cats. we don't think that there is a vaccume leak anywhere. and his air/fuel gauge says that he is not running lean. we are pretty sure his cooling system is working properly.

so..what the hells is wrong with this thing. we are thinking that maybe the spark plugs went bad. also how accurate is that air/fuel gauge when it is hooked up directly to the O2 sensor. could the opti spark be bad?

any input would be appreciated. thanks

Is the water level going down or is there water in the oil? See if there are air bubbles in the cooling system when the engine is running.

Do a pressure test of the cooling system. Also do a leak down test of each cylinder.
