I am wanted to get some rockers for my car is ther going to be a noticable gain from 1.65 rocker? I have found these but what else will i need to do besides this my car is a 1994 and has hardened push rods so what would be needed tro complete thsi process and would it have a SOTP gain out of it?I have already used the Search .

 

you will definitely have to upgrade the springs. most will say comp 918's. depending on rocker style, you will need guideplates for NSA rockers.

 

ask COMP cams they will guide you. And they are honest, if you buy direct they will actually admit they cost more and they actually tell you to shop through JC whitney or jegs!!

 

What brand and style rockers are you looking at?

 

My Camaro SS had 1.65 Crower rockers on it when I bought it (with an LPE 219 cam that was way wrong for the combo, even then), and they were very nice rockers, similar to the Comp Pro Magnums I have now. I replaced them with the Comps when I changed to a GTP 6 cam, since GTP couldn't say for sure if I'd run into clearance issues on the stock shortblock. Honestly I'm not sure the extra .05 is worth it, and depending on your setup it could lead to geometry issues.
