Heavy miss at WOT

Same ol' question that gets asked all the time on here. Once my car warms up, if I punch it kinda quick while sitting still (basically just to rev it), it'll miss/backfire and almost tries to stall. I've had this occasionally in the past where after opening it up on the street it'll miss the next time i try to open it up. They cured some of my misfires when it was on the dyno being tuned, although it never completely went away. I'm praying to god this isn't my opti, just because I don't want to have to deal with that SOB. Any other ideas, or is it most likely my opti? Right now i'm somewhat afraid to drive it cause last time this happened i stalled it and had to change my plugs to get it started again cause they were badly fouled (prior to dyno tune). Any info would be appreciated.

Also, on a side note, it ran great most of the time after i got it back from the dyno, but i didn't think that the opti was quite that tempermental that it would be fine sometimes and not others.

How much routine maintenance have done to this rather old machine? Wires, sensors, clean the injectors? Anything? All the ignition parts eventially have to be replaced. Injectors have to be cleaned. Sensors get funky. TPS gets worn out. O2's get cooked. Water temp. gets woozy.

So what have you done in the last 50000 miles?

Besides the aforementioned concerns, I'm going to vote opti. I experienced similar running conditions. Replaced my opti, and she runs like a raped ape.

Well, 50,000 miles is all the car has on it, and it was rebuilt probably about 10k or less ago. MSD 50lb injectors within the last couple years, sensors are all good, etc. Opti is new 2 years ago as well. It was extensively dyno tuned last year and many other problems were sorted out, along with all new plugs, wires, coil, and the addition of a MSD 6BTM. I actually don't think it's a miss anymore. Upon further listening and having other people listen to it, we think that it's getting too much fuel and is just bogging. It actually drives relatively fine, but more when it's just punched really quickly. I'm gonna take it back to the dyno place and have them look at the tune and see if there's anything they can tweak in the computer. It drove just fine though until a week ago. The thing pulled rediculously hard, so I know they had the tune right at one point.

Thanks for the input.
