heater flush success...and one unrelated question

today i successfully flushed my heatercore thanks to all the info i got from people on this board...thanks to everyone who posted before and providing info on this thing....i had one hell of a clog.

AND THEN UNRELATED question...im thinkin about doin the manual fan switch mod. i have the stock thermo and i dont think imma be changing it anytime soon, but i want a way to keep my car runnin cool. if i install the manual fan switch, would the fans still come on automatically if i had the switch off?
i know theres like a zillion posts about this already probably..but i couldent find one that would answer my question..thanks]

steve

Yeah, the stock fans will work normally when the switch is not on. It's a decent way to keep your car cooler, even with the stock thermostat.

shoebox...since you seeem to be the wiseman of the board. maybe you can provide me with a lil more info on the fan switch install. i just read that the 93 have single speed fans. so does that mean i could just use a 2 position switch?
