heat wrap
i am replacing my plug wires with msd 8.0 mm wires since i fried a wire with my headers. i was wondering if putting heat wrap around the headers would protect the wires from getting fried again. or will the new wires hold up to the heat. thanks
Re: heat wrap
Also, alot of header companies will void the warranty if header wrap is used. Like stated above, your best bet is to get heat insulated wires and to route them away from the headers with either zip ties or go the route of a over-the-valve cover wire loom kit.
