Heat not hot?

A week ago we had our first cold temps and the heat in my car never really got warm. The engine temp stayed just below 180. Does this mean I have a 160 deg thermostat?

Your heater core may need to be backflushed.

Patman is right. Just disconnect heater hoses at the firewall and use a garden hose to flush it out. Did it once for mine and haven't had a problem since. Blows nice and warm.
