Heat & Airflow Issues

Well did a quick search but no luck. Car is having issues with blowing hot air out the vents.
Problem is that with fan on High and Temp at cold, air blows strong, as I turn the thermostat **** towards Heat the airflow becomes very noticeably weaker with only luke-warm air. (I've done the heater core flush previously and will again, but thats not the issue). Airflow and velocity is the problem here as the **** goes from cold to hot.
I believe it has something to do with the Thermostat and the heater bypass valve.
Does anyone know anything about this or where to begin looking? Thanks for the help.

If the velocity of the air is the problem, it could be one of the doors in the HVAC system is not functioning properly. The temp door is controlled by a cable from the ****. The other doors are operated by vacuum servos. There is no heater control valve (like that which controls the coolant flow on the hoses) on a 4th gen.

I'm thinking its the temp door. Do you know of (or have any) diagrams or way to gain access to the cable to verify its operation or check that the temp door is working correctly? **** does have a different "feel" to it when it starts getting to the red heat side. Thanks

I have never had to dig into that part of the dash, so I have no firsthand info for you. Normally, there is a clamp at either end of a cable like that to hold it in place. Maybe one of them is loose.
