healthy RPM range???

Ok i just wanted to know what are some healthy RPM ranges??

here is what i ussualy cruise at

1st gear 1000-2000RPM
2nd gear 1200-2000RPM
3rd gear 1400-2100RPM
4th gear 1500-2100RPM
5th gear 1600-2100RPM
6th gear 1800-2200RPM

am i staying too low in the RPM band? im just afraid im putting stress on my engine, even at low RPM's with just a little touch on the gas the car feels like it has all the power it needs... is this ok for my car??? or should i bring up these RPM's??? Also if anyone could attach a dyno chart of a stock LT1 on a dyno it would be much apreciated.

I normally drive my m6 in the 1800-3500 range, I don't often get to 5th or 6th.

think i'll get carbon build up with RPM's tht low??

cause i barely touch the gas at all.... like maybe 1/10 throttle at most and car picks up well. 1800 RPM my car has too much power, more than i need for cruising. in lower gears anyways... in 6th i ussualy cruise at 2000RPM so around 120km/h

nahh...you should be fine. That is just about exactly what I run on mine. Unless your engine is loading up/ bogging down I would not worry about it.

drive it like you stole it once and awhile, you won't have any problems.

But when i'm low inc ash i like to save on gas, but i would rather spend a few extra bucks and not damage my engine!!!

My driving habits... on a full tank... I have only 86 miles so far and its getting down to the 3/4 mark on the gauge!

And gas is $2.39 a gallon here.
