I have taken a long break from LT1 cars so I am alittle out of the loop on some stuff.

What are the choices for heads now? back when i was messing with them there was only LT4 and AFR heads. I have been seeing LE1 and LE2 in reference to heads.

Who does good porting of LT1 heads? What about intake porting?

And what Cam choices are there now? I only remember there being the LT4 hot cam, and CC be the only choices.

 

as for heads lloyd elliot (LE) does great work as do advanced induction (AI), and port pros to name a few. they all port stock castings which seems to be the prefered route right now.

as for cams there are endless choices with CC, crane, and countless other custom grinds made by quite a few people.

do some research and see what fits your goakls best, and go from there.
