Heads,,,info

looking to get heads for my 97 z,,,what brand are the best?
and also, when i'm looking at them on the net or in magazines,,what do the numbers mean? i'm not too knowladgeable about them, but i want to get what would be best for me.

ex:
54cc 170cc/60cc 1.94"/1.55 .600 A
what do those numbers mean?

54cc = combustion chamber size
170cc/60cc = intake/exhaust runner size
1.94"/1.55 = intake/exhuast valve size
.600 A = not sure, max lift of included springs maybe?

Those look alot like the edelbrock stats...

I would say the springs are good to .600" valve lift,
and the A either stands for assembled, or its some
sort of notation for single/double spring but that
would be stated wherever you saw that.

I share these same questions as well. Brand names, part numbers and web sites are also very appreciated.

Thanks.
