for everything, if you do the labor around 3k with tuning. thats is all the little stuff added in.
ummmmmmm i asked how much it would cost to pay someone else to do it not how much the parts cost and what little things would i need i know gaskets bolts anything else im missing this isnt anytime soon maybe in a year
Do yourself a favor and do it yourself.
Set aside a weekend and find a buddy with some tools. There are tons of guides on the internet for this install and IMO it isn't worth paying someone as much as they're going to charge to do it.
The first time I did it I luckily have a buddy who has done it quite a few times in the past....with both of us it took 12 hours including breaks and a trip to the Autozone.
Like I said....find some of the install pages on the internet, print them out and take your time. You'll learn a lot from it and you'll save yourself some serious $$$.

Go to www.bfranker.badz28.com and he has guides. There are other ones I used too though but dont have the links.
It really isnt that hard. I had never done anything to a car before my Z. The hardest part about the cam was the hub. Here is a list of the "special" tools you will need. All available for free rental from Autozone. I destroyed most of them too. lol.
-3 toe puller. Also get longer bolts that are just skinnier than the puller and put it threw the bolt hole and use a nut on the other side. Do not pull it off using the threads. My opinion but i wouldnt risk it.
-3 prong puller for the pulley
- threaded rod. get a couple feet. pretty cheap $10 or so from a machine shop/ bolt shop make sure it is grade 8 and make sure to use a grade 8 nut. 7/16" 20 fine is the size
- valve spring compressor. the auozone one worked fine. I also use a fabbed metal bar that made it much easier for the ones not under the cowl.
Not sure what you need for the heads though, havent done them yet.
