My only respite is that I'm still on the initial "safe" blower tune for the heads and cam. So it should go back up when I get around to doing that. Also, mine was an average of city and highway, although it seems like every idiot I got behind was going too slow for me to use 5th or 6th gears so my mileage went down I'm sure.
Congratulations you'll come to love your new found power
I was gonna ask if you noticed a difference between the stock tune and Ion's tune but looks like you had the pcm before the initial startup.

Ran her today, a few issues I ran into....first....when driving after a bit on steady pace....she misses...I think one of my spark plug wires is toast or arching through the insulate. ....and my friend notices that I was blowing black smoke out the back....is that because she is running rich? Any ideas?
smoke color goes as follows
black is from fuel
white is from water
blue is from oil
so I would guess that it is from being rich
by the way--BEAUTIFUL car!

u didn't mention what your pressure regulator is set at...if you are running a stock regulator, time to step up to an adjustable aftermarket one, but even that wouldn'c make you run rich
there could be a number of things involved, sensors acting up, something with the tune, plugs being too hot or too cold (length) the list keeps going.
