Which heads and cam combo for 383

It finally came time to rebuild me engine and now I think I'm going with a 383. A few questions are. Would it be better to start from the bottom end up. or vice versa. I would like to know which type of heads would best fir my car. I want them ported, but nothing outragious. I don't want to spend all off my money on head work. But as for the cam I was think about the cc306 but I'm thinking about something a little more aggressive then that cam. What would you guys recomend? And what kind of budget am I looking at here? With the cam I including all the must parts springs retainers and so on. Thanks alot

I'm interested in used parts as well. I would to be able to save money going that route. What kind of cam do most people run with there 383 set up. I do not plan on using N20.
