headlight problem (not a headlight motor problem)
headlight problem (not a headlight motor problem)
Well the other night I noticed my drivers side headlight was out, so when driving at night I just used my brights until the local Advanced Autoparts recieved some replacements for me. After installing the new Sylvania Silverstars into both the drivers and passenger side, I took the car for a test drive to see how well the new headlamps worked. As you know they worked a lot better than standard halogens, but on my way back to campus my drivers side headlight went out again. So I turn on the brights......same thing happened the bright worked for about 5 minutes then went out!!!! I checked the fuse relays and both fuses are fine, all grounds are fine, the only thing I have not done is take the light out and see if it works by connecting a positive and negative to the battery.... I also do not have one of those electrical indicators (can't think of the technical name of it right now). Anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong?? Any of you F-body guys ever have this problem?
