headgasket ? to you big guys
headgasket ? to you big guys
got a bolt on lt1 i daily drive...i put the motor back to stock new bearings rings and gaskets
185 stat/ewp
about about 10k on it now and i noticed it was emptying the radiator into the overflow slowly...so i changed few caps and flushed the coolant system a few times, bleed it with the key on(ewp) and everything fine, i can start the car let it run for about 30 seconds and it looks like (from the line commin outa the heads) carbination (TINY air bubbles)
so its pushing compression tiny amounts into the coolant, has anyone seen one bust that tiny? been like that for a while it will just eventially be low on coolant...no leaks and put a pressure tester on the cap on 20 psi and about 30 mines later it was at 18.5, but coolant nowhere, we though it would have been the tester just bleeding down but i dont believe it...

Most of the time, it's hard to completely seal a coolant pressure tester. So a little leakage till drive you nuts.
If it were the head gasket leaking, a leakdown tester would find it. Simply look at the plugs before you hook it up and the cleanest one (if there is one) will tell you which cylinder to start with.
