Headers touching the AC line?
Headers touching the AC line?
The long tubes that I installed last summer are touching the big U-shaped AC line on the back of the compressor. I'm sure others have had this same problem and I'm curious as to what you've done in this situation. I haven't worried about it until now but since I am getting the AC system charged soon, I wanted to make sure it was "OK". I don't really want to bend the AC line, so I was thining about shoving a tiny piece of some heat wrap in between the two. Any ideas?
Thanks

i carefully bent mine away as much as i could........i managed to get about 1/2 - 3/4 inch of clearance.
my AC is not nearly as cold as it was before the header install, so obviously the headers are heating it up.........so getting some flexible heat shielding would be a good idea.
