Headers: PaceSetter LT's vs. Mac MidLength

I need some good cheap headers. These are two of em, I think they are close to the same price. Which is better, easier to install, any advice?

Installed pacesetters about a week ago. Easy install. went to track tonight, with the headers and a madz28 tune went from a 14.3 to a 13.6. The sound is awesome too.

I've had the Mac's and the Pacesetters.

The install is gonna take a little while with either, but Macs are a lil easier. (had to bend AC line out of the back on the AC compressor on pacesetters)

The pacesetters will require longer O2 sensors. The Pacesetters sound better and Both have good ground clearance. Either is a good choice IMHO (i voted Pacesetter though) Good luck

The dyno numbers that I've seen are very close between the two. Sometimes the MAC's have made more, sometimes the Pacesetters. You can see what mine did in my sig. The dyno curve is on there too. That's with a cat still in the exhaust, and running 12.0 a/f from about 4000 rpm up.

Better install and better plug access go to MAC's.

I think the price is similar between the two. The coated MAC's are about $540 shipped from www.jet-hot.com with the headers and Y-pipe coated inside and out.

The Pacesetters are nice too, from what I've seen. Quality looks nice. I think some guys aren't too happy with the slip fit construction of the Y-pipe connection.

You can't go wrong either way, they will both give noticeable gains. I'm very happy with my MAC's.
