Headers and O2 sensors
really i got to hear this, just so you know there is more resistance in a connector than a properly soldered wire. dont believe everything you read

It's just something I recall reading, more than once. Other than remembering that the reasoning seemed sound, I don't recall the specifics. I know it was enough to convince me to purchase the extensions, as opposed to working hard to screw something up. Let me see if I can find what I read and post a link.

Here is a thread I remember reading. Maybe it was more a matter of people not performing the extension correctly.
Either way, if it were me, I would just buy some extensions.

Thanks for all the input guys. Really helpful bunch around here. That (among other things) makes this a good place to hang out.
On a side note, like I said, I'm trying to get everything together ahead of time to do all of this work - without buying extra, unnecessary parts. Does anybody know for sure which length of O2 extension I will need with the long tube Pacesetters? Kind of sounds like it will be just one 12 incher.

I used two 24" extensions from LMPerformance.com I may have gone a little long, but I wasn't sure 12" would be quite long enough. Plus the 24" units allowed me to tuck them up under the car so they wouldn't get snagged on anything.
