Headers InstallED Now Questions!!
Headers InstallED Now Questions!!
Well we got my headers installed over the weekend.. bout 17 hours
and that was with 3ish people!! Half the night we spend running the new plugs in the STOCK location. The passenger side is one hell if a bitch. Rerouted them 3 times to get them away from the pullies. and then had a problem with the y pipe and the exhaust being to close to the driveshaft.
Anyways. The question was.
I don't have air or erg fitting and we removed the ERG plate/tube thing bent it and filled it so it would close and put it back on to cap it off.
NOW the hose(s) for the AIR on both sides is still there and they are blowing out hot air once the engine is warm. He told me to just plug them if they were still blowing hot air.
Is it ok to just plug those up or should i take them all off and get a plate for it?
Also will that make me lose a great deal of power since i guess its considers an air leak??
