Headers from dual cat to single cat

I just picked up a set of MAC headers w/ y pipe..
How can i get this to fit up w/ my 96 dual cat camaro?

easy bro, get a set of O2 cat sims OR get some pcmforless programming, Im in the same boat as you bro, I got a set of 95 headers with borla y-pipe, just waiting on gaskets plugs and wires... Outta be a fun job! But yeah O2 simms should do it for you!

well im converting to OBDI so i dont need to worry about that
im just wondering how the 95 y-pipe connects to the rest of the exhaust

oh you need to get an "s" pipe i think, or just have the muffler shop fab something up for you!

Keith is right, you need as s-pipe or something a shop fabricated for you to connect the cat/offroad pipe to your intermediate pipe.

I had 94-95 headers on my 97z, I had to have an s-pipe fabricated under the table since it illegal to take out the cats. It ended up costing me $150. You'll also need different size air fittings, i just went into the plumbing section at sears and picked up the pieces I needed there.
