Headers don't fit

Ok, I am replacing my header gaskets on my SLP shortys. They mached up perfect when they were knew but now when I am putting them back on the bolts are not matching up very well. I have got the two end bolts on both them, but all the middle bolts are not matching up. I just do not want to cross thread them. Any ideas what I should do?

Re: Headers don't fit

Pull the header away from the head and thread the bolts in with the header against the head of the header bolt.

yeah try cleaning up the bolts too and threading them in w/o the header in and see how they go in. Then once you get the front and back on wiggle the header as you try to get the middle ones in. If the thread holes are dirty spray some compressed air in there.
