Headers: Do I have it all??
Headers: Do I have it all??
Okay!! Did my research, bought my headers on my budget, and here goes the questions.
I have Ceramic Coated LT's by Pacesetter. The gaskets that came with them are obvious crap.
I heard Percy's had a good aluminum gasket, but that copper gaskets were good too.
Which one should I run??
A) Being the Percy's Aluminum on Summit
B) A copper set
What fasteners? The headers came with some bolts, but they look kinda cheap. I know not to reuse the stock ones, but where do I find some good ones that are going to be super expensive?
Basically, tell me what gaskets to get and where I should get the fasteners and why!!
Thanks!

Re: Headers: Do I have it all??
I used Felpro gaskets and ARP stainless 12pt bolts with my pacesetters. They work great and no leaks. I've used the stage8 locking bolts before and would highly recommend just going with the ARP hardware. Summit Racing or Scoggin Dickey are both great places to get them.
Re: Headers: Do I have it all??
I used Percy's and ARP stainless 12pts. I wish that I used allen heads instead; some of the bolts are a PITA to get a socket or box wrench on and with 12pt that is what you have to use. However, I would choose Percy's deadsoft aluminum header gaskets again. My car is a Daily Driver and is subject to extremes in driving conditions IE temps from -20F to 100+F and my headers don't leak!
