headers ... which bolt up nicely?

i know theres a trillion header posts on this bord but i cant find exactly what im looking for. Im in the market for either shorty's or mid lengths. What im looking for are a set of reasonably priced headers that will bolt right up without any other modifications. Of course i want to make as much HP as possible, and would prefer that they dont rust off.

opinions?

thanks

I had MAC headers on my car. They were a good header for a good price IMO. Bolted right up with no issues and were much cheaper than some of the others out there.

Most times the best shorty header for the LT1 is normally considered the AS&M headers. But, they cost a bit more than the MAC headers

Ditto to the Almighty Brent Franker.

I like the Macs for price/quality. They are great for bolton cars.

I've seen a lot of posts about the MAC's being prone to leaking. Is this a common issue or more of a rarity with MAC's?
