Headers?

I have a 1996 Camaro Z28 and want to put headers on it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the best headers to put on it.

Re: Headers?

Depends on what you're looking for. I went for shorties the first time around, looking for a little horsepower and easy installation. Turns out these pacesetters that I got were easier than those dang shorties.

If I were to do it all over again; Pacesetter/Hooker long tube headers.

Re: Headers?

I love my Hooker LT's. The big question is what do you want to spend? Mine are ceramic coated and I couldn't not getting the coated ones. Even if you don't have the money right now for the coated ones I'd just wait and save up. Also check out the classified section, people are always selling some.

Re: Headers?

You get Kook's when you because you either like stainless steel or your exhaust ports are to big and normal longtubes would be a restriction at the flange.

IMO, a cheaper coated set will work perfect for most.

Re: Headers?

It took 1 month for me to get my pacesetters and the flanges were warped. I am supposed to get replacements but now it is month 3+ and I still don't have any headers
