I want to put headers on my 95 Z28. I can get some edlebrock shorties that will bolt right on to the existing exhaust. Is hooker that much better? Are there other brands besides these 2 that I should consider? It has the one CAT and I need to to stay street legal. Input would be greatly appreciated.

 

Edelbrock's are not much better than stock manifolds IMO. Go with Jet Hot or Hooker long tubes. Get the y-pipe and hook it into your existing exhaust and you'll be very happy with the results.
