hi,
i just received my headers today, and am going to be installing them,"slp emission shorty" and also taylor performance wires, and ngk tr 55 plugs,i also plan on going ahead, and installing new o2 sensors while im down there, anything else i should change while im at it,any tips, to getting the manifolds off easier, and installing headers easier?i will be working in my dads garage, which has a "pit" in it,so that will make it a little easier, thanks.
all tips,and help is appreciated.thanks.
p.s. how much power should i expect to see,my car is a 97 z,m6,90000 miles, all stock, except flowmaster american thunder catback, and of course im adding the slp shorty headers, and half tuneup, 15-20 rear wheel???mid to high 13's???thanks.

I have a way too detailed header install procedure on my website. It is for JBA's on a single cat car, but it might have some helpful hints.

Sounds like you are approaching it correctly with the plugs and O2 sensors.
