Header Studs on LT1?

Anyone running header studs on their car? Two of my Breslin bolts have backed out, one is gone, the other I found. I don't know if I just couldn't get them tight enough on the Macs or what, but I'm seriously considering studs when I order my Hookers.

I'd think that studs would make installation a pain in the ***, given the already cramped space to get them to fit.

I'm using an ARP 1" header bolt with a small amount of anti-seize, and they haven't backed out at all. Longer header bolts put more meat in the head and they are less prone to backing out. That's what I would recommend.

longer bolts are also less likely to strip the threads out, the heads being aluminum and all.

I'm using stage 8 locking bolts. They seem to be working farely well. You might want to try them. -Michael
