header question

so im putting my headers in my camaro, and finding out how much this car really hates me, and the steering gear is rubbing on the driver side? its by a minimal amount, you can still turn the wheel all the way to the left and right, but is there any solution aside from just taking a hammer to my brand new headers?

Re: header question

There are three bolts through a bracket that holds the column to the firewall (inside passenger compartment). Two holes are slotted, allowing you to push the steering column toward the outside of the car. If you cant get enough movement, slot the holes a bit more.

Were they "D" port headers?

Re: header question

Thanks for the info. I'll look into them after I research the "D" port difference problem.
