Header Install

What is the best and easyest way to install Hooker LT's in a 1997 Z 28 I want me and my dad to do it at our house we have all the tools needed but just would like to know what parts to remove and what parts to leave alone.....thank you for all your help

You need to get the car WAY off the ground. I have a pic in my sig showing my install. 6 ton jack stands for more height. The distance from the ground to the bottom of the front door was about 30" for me. Don't even try until you get it up this high. I spend most of the day jacking alittle, trying, jacking alittle, etc. For the front, I had 6 tons extended all the way and had those on top of 6" blocks(railroad ties) and ramps in the rear. If you get the car up then it's really easy. Both go in from the bottom. Remove the steering knuckle, oil filter, and starter so you aren't fighting it.

well we can take it to my dad shop and use the car stall thats not a problem I was just wondering about the engine parts to be removed....thanks for the input!
