hi folks,

how much would a stock m6 lt1 f-body gain at the rear wheels with lt headers and cai. one of our members is claiming 50 rwhp for just those two mods on a stock car with nothing else. is that bullchit i smell?

 

Well,it depends on lot of things.You cant put just one number on it.Variables like y-pipe or true duals,cat no cat,etc.I would estimate 20-30.Possibly more or less.

 

Cai typically gains 10rwhp, long-tubes maybe about 25-30 (from what i've seen and heard)

 

I gained right at 40 rwhp from a CAI and LT with true duals. Here are the dynos.
