Header bolts..how much do I torque them down?

Header bolts..how much do I torque them down?

How many Ft-lbs to I torque them down? Putting in a new gasket on my edlebrock shorties...

cool thanks..one thing ive just noticed while taking off the bolts. I can only get the socket wrench(torque wrench as well) on the front and back bolts..the rest I have to use a normal crescent wrench..so I guess you just have to kinda guage where the others are at, and just try to hand tighten them to what you think?

also, do you recomment using anit-seize on the bolts or what?

Use the anti-seize, you'll be glad you did if you ever have to take them off.

Its impossable to get a tq wrench on them so i just go as tight as i can with the little stubby wrench that i have to use.

Torque the ones that you can and then test the tightness with the wrench you will use for the others. Once your arm is "calibrated", the rest will get tightened about the same.
