Head Gasket Question

Is there any alternative to the expencive felpro head gaskets. Stock ones form GM parts Direct are $10. I could save $50 over felpro. But If they wont hold I dont want to waste the money or time. Just wondering if there was any alternative to felpro's???

There are alternatives but felpro makes some pretty good gaskets. I got felpro's for my car and they were only $18 a piece and they are the permatorques. Which ones are you looking at that would save you $50 to go with GM ones?

The OEM gaskes from GMpartsdirect are $10 each and felpro's are $35 each. A difference of $25 per gasket times 2 gaskets.

Where did you get the fel-pro's for $18. What # are they. are they the 1074's.???
