Which head gasket?

My heads have been milled a very small amount, .005. Which head gasket should I use? Did a search and didn't find anyone with .005 milled heads and what gasket they used. Sorry, I know this is a common question. Just want to be sure I get the right stuff.

It depends what your goals are, but really a stock gasket would be fine if your motor is stock. With the milling it will raise the CR just a bit.

Re: Which head gasket?

I got a new pair of stock headgaskets when I swapped mine out. Your heads are milled such a small amount I don't think it will make much of a difference. Some guys are running the Mr. Gasket set, if I remember correctly it's very thin, like .026. If you're looking to raise the compression and get your quench area down, that would be the one to use.

Re: Which head gasket?

On the Mr. Gasket sets, I assume I will still be able to run 93 octane gas with no problems. Do I need a special intake gaskets or will stock ones do if I deceide to go with the Mr. Gasket set?

Re: Which head gasket?

I have not heard of any issues using 93 octane gas and the thin gaskets. Standard intake gaskets will be fine.
