head/cam total cost?

Just wondering what the total cost of a LE1 head/cam package would be with everything you needed to make it run properly. When the time comes, I will already have headers/true duals, so that isn't a problem. I assume the package doesn't come with valve train components, and is strictly the heads and cam. What else do I need besides an upgraded valve train, throttle body, fuel pump, injectors, and a good tune? Any other info would be appreciated.

Your also going to need mid or longtube headers to hit 370 rwhp with the le1 combo.

Edit: Just noticed you had headers alread... my bad

Re: head/cam total cost?

You will need a MAF that is not ruined like your current one $50-75 on ebay, pcm tuning $125+, roller rockers $170+, gaskets say another $150(probably a little high), injectors $230 for SVOs, TB David Koldos does wonderful boring of stockers for around $200, fuel pump you might be OK on but just to be cautious another $110 there. I believe the heads come with springs but you might double check that. I also think your pushrods will be OK unless you want to go to non-selfaligning rockers then you will need the hardened pushrods, guideplates and appropriate rockers. I know some will scoff at using the stock pushrods but in every mechanical system there is a weakest link(not necessarily weak just waeker than the rest) I think it better for that to be the the pushrod than the rest of the pieces because they are relatively cheap and easy to replace should something bad happen. I would say get a timing chain too which one is up to you I went with stock components there but my cam does not spin so high.

Where have you seen svo injectors for 230? And what size are they? (I need some 36# SVOs)

Re: head/cam total cost?

I know Summit and Jeg's had them for around that last I looked and I thought someone even posted a Mustang based vendor that sold them for a little closer to $210.
