head bolts..replace??

head bolts..replace??

when you remove aluminum heads do you have to replace the bolts or can you use the same ones..?

If they are the stock bolts, they need to be replaced. They are torque to yield and they have stretched. ARP bolts can be reused.

Replace them. Get some new ones from GM or get some ARP replacements.
