I just rather read it and if you had a link then that would be cool if not don't respond... period.
Unless you think I should take your word (like that of God) and trust your word on something I spent a bunch of $$$ on because you said to!?!
I am not the type to trust the word of people, unless there is absolutely little choice.

I am the guy that has experience with head bolts, more than most.
God ain't in the picture here just experience.
Contrary to popular belief some of us know 'bout this stuff from experience and a whole lot of different experiences.
We don't depend on a manual or the OD to get it done we have to do it. If that makes me or anyone else sound God like to you then ya need to rethink what you think your position is.
If ya were that interested ya would have called ARP.
I build engines for a living in my little hole in the wall shop and if I don't know then tough,I call someone who I think does. Don't do it often though, I generally figure it out from experience.
Ain't had many comebacks in the last 40 years and have built, wrenched on some of the fastest Mustangs on the planet-- The first 4.6 into the 8's and the fastest 4.6 on the planet-today--now.
Chevys too but mostly in dirt track sprint cars-- the ones with wings ya know.Got a couple of track championships for my customers and did right well when I had one.
So that's basically WHO I am and what I do.

First in the 8's

Fastest on the planet.

I don't need you to convince me of what your experiance is I work on multi million dollar aircrafts that can hold hundreds orf peoples lives at stake, not to mention the equipment that would make your jaws drop.
I only rely on myself and my guys to "get it done". Other than that I would have appreciated a link to what you were talking about so I could learn for myself and not go by someones words of someone whom I never met let alone trust my engine to. As stated above if you don't want to lead me in the right direction ... then I'm sure someone else will.

How much farther do ya want to be led????? I posted ARP relative info, myself and others have said the same thing about the bolts.Seems like ya need a manual with a 12 digit ID number like ya are used to working with. There ain't any!!!! Ya pick it up as ya go along and read as much as ya can. Talk to people and evaluate what they say, probably don't work for a B1B but this car game is a different story. There is only ONE way to fix a problem on a B1B and that is BUY THE BOOK. If racing was that way everybody would be running the same times and everybody would win or blow.
The individualism in this sport is what keeps it alive. The freedom to use different parts and adapt different ideas and you don't have that luxury in the service.
Aircraft are cool and people die in race/street cars too and the difference in who owns them on a ratio the small timer with a race car has a lot invested too. But we ain't building airplanes either.
CALL ARP and satisfy yourself and post back what they say.Order Desk & Technical Support: 800.826.3045 or 805.339.2200,
Have ya met the guy that wrote the fix it manual for the planes ya work on???

B1B was the first thing that popped into my head.
Didn't say I knew or even wanted to know anything about the B1B.
I can see where the caring lies and don't much care if ya like me or don't. Never have wanted to enter a popularity contest. The USMC taught me that many moons ago.
If ya want the advice there it is,if ya don't so be it.Take it or leave it.OBTW the advice IS correct.
Ya could have Googled for the link as it's on ARP web sight.
Re: head bolts...
bowtie, I really wish as the post maker I could delete your posts. This was a post for info, not for some military mechanic (HAHAHA) to pretend he is the smartest one here and to try and put everyone else down... please stop this crap.

I agree. Most of the information on their website is regarding rod bolts. Thats why I called them a few times before even attempting to put the first head bolts in. VERY friendly AND knowledgeable technical staff there at ARP
