Unhappy Havng trouble taking shifter off

I have a B&M Ripper shifter and need to remove it but it seems to be stuck. I took off the 4 corner bolts then i cant seem to take it off! Does it slide off or pop up off? I cant remember if there some type of silicone under the base to keep it still, any suggestions?

Take a flat head screwdriver and pry on the edge of it gently. IT should pop right off but might be stuck due to RTV between the shifter and the tranny.

I used a mini-pry bar. There are a few factory pry spots cast into the tranny. Find the pry spot (I do it on the left side) and pop it right off.

I wouldn't pry with anything sharp, as you may nick up the metal. Take a rubber mallet and give her a smack. Should pop loose.

I wouldn't hit it too hard from the side or else you might crack the plastic cup inside there.

i would try tapping on the side of the base lightly with a hammer that should break it loose.
