Having cooling issues..
The car is in the sig. I took it out of storage to prep for summer and immediately was treated to over heating. I swapped out the stat with a stock replacement and now it overheats when I am not moving or going under ~35mph.
The fans are operating as they should, and the fluid level and mix is correct.. Fortunately, I have a waterpump for it, and will prolly swap that out when I do a tune up, but was wondering if any of you have any idea what it may be otherwise..
The heat also works in the car, and it sits at 180 when I am on the highway. The rad is clear of obstructions.. Hmm, can't think of any other info that may help.
Do you guys think a coolant system flush would help??

Re: Having cooling issues..
check your gauge, check the oil for water, I had an older model with big cam, run hot at every stop light, check to see if the coils are blocked or dirty, I just found that on my 96, the ac coil was half way blocked with dirt, leaves and other trash.
