Have a question about the crank hub!!

I am still having problems getting the hub off, but I am making progress I am just not sure if it is the correct progress...

My question is, does the hub actually go inside the timing cover seal? Because that appears to be what is moving when I pull on the hub. I just wanna make sure that I am doing it right before I damage anything....

Thanks guys

Yes, it does go inside the timing cover, through the crank seal. It will take a lot of work to get if off, but it will come. I bought a stronger bolt to thread in snout to use force against, when removing the hub.

Not sure if this helps, but when you pull off the hub you have to make sure you're pushing against the crank, and not the inside of the hub...

What I did was put the center bolt in a couple turns, then push against that. Otherwise you're going to be fighting against yourself...
