You don't need the buildsheet to find out what options you have. Just look at the RPO sheet that is glued into the glovebox. If it has 1LE on it, then you have a 1LE, otherwise you don't.

i dont see 1LE anywhere on the bottom options list, so I dont think you have one. Also, couldnt you judge based on items the car ISNT equipped with, like AC and such?

If you look at the bottom of the build sheet you will see the options that are on the car. There is no 1LE down there so I doubt it's a 1LE. Checking the glove box should match the options on the build sheet.

There's probably a better list somewhere, but I created a list of what was on my car, at http://www.go-fast.org/z28/stock.html

There's bound to be a whole lot of stuff there that you see on your options list too.

Yeah it does not say 1LE on your options list...so it most likely isn't one. A '96, like mine, would have hard top, manual windows, door locks, mirrors, and seats. The only options it could have is AC (new in 96), and rear window defogger. Check the shocks, they should be yellow Bilsteins.

Interesting to see some French on the sheet, but no 1LE listed as an option, so it's not a 1LE.

Well I bought the car, its not going to be here for another week or more.

I was faxed that biuld sheet from the owner of the car.

The car is an SS with the SLP suspension, so it has the yellow shocks anyways.

It has manual everything, windows, mirrors, locks, seats (coth) its a hard top, M6

Was told that when he got it AC was an added option.

would have been nice to have a 1LE, but still dont really know why its better, esspecialy with the SLP suspension, rear, and shifter?

I'll look for sure when I get it too.

I think SS's only have the 1LE sway bars, not the shocks and everything else associated with the 1LE package...The only thing I love about my 1LE is what it will be worth in 30 years, since its 1 of 55 made on Earth

PS, your site isnt made for people with 1600x1200 resolution

If anyone knows any of the other codes that would be great.

I can tell you for a FACT that the SS with teh suspension has the yellow shocks, 32mm sway bar, and the bilstein springs. I do have a SS sitting in the garage.

Cool

While the SLP and the 1LE cars did use several of the same of simular suspension parts, I don't think there were any 1LE SS cxars made. Would kind of be a waste of money to install the 1LE parts and then tear them off to install the SLP SS parts. The SLP car were factory Z28s with the badging removed and standard exhaust and suspension.

Hmm, I know Taner has a 1LE SS, altough I think only the body is original now.
