Have any of you had problems with Edeldrock TES headers?

My question is this, I have a 97 Z28 with a 6 speed..Bought a set of Edelbrock TES header, needed the shortys because of emission laws in NY..

But when I installed them everything went in fine until I attached the stock cat with crossover pipe on the drivers side header, which is now hitting the oilpan..I just wanted to know if anybody else has had this same problem?

nope, i have em too. to me, they are deff not worth the money. get longtubes and have em weld in o2 bungs and such, then go to a place that will be lax on the visual inspection. That way you won't have to mod twice.

Yeah, thats true, I have never had problems with them, never changed plugs yet with them on, but access looks ok. They did rust up quick, just pointing out an option because with my experience i wish i had just saved the money and gone with long tubes with bungs welded on (now i don't even have to worry about emissions). When i got my car inspected with edelbrock y-pipe into 3" exhaust the guy said it passed with flying colors and was very clean. Dunno bout your interference, my car has only got one cat so dunno.

I had them for 5 years before I went with the Kooks. They are great headers.
I ran 11.77 with them. They never leaked once and plug access was ok.

I think you need the Y pipe that goes with them. The one that came with mine fit great
