Hatch Door Lock

The Key turned, there was a very slight click, the Hatch opened..... but the key never turned back and it got "stuck"
in there.

No problen I have a spare but then....****!!! my door locks key copy does not work and it's brand new!!! I dont wanna replace all 3 locks, so what do I do? I remove everything back there up and including the plastic cover inbetween the tail lights. I finally drilled the rivets out and it was just impossible to release the key out so I finally busted the lock and I got the freaking Key back.

Now is there a cheap place to get another Hatch door lock? and is it possible to make it work with the original key? I sure hate to have a diff key for every door. My remote opens the hatch door whenever it feels like it thats how I ended up using the key.

Anyone know the part Number? My friend and a security guard at my building had their locks replaced at over 450 dollars. I rather buy the lock and just put the rivets back on my self. Its actually easy to do.

Go to the dealer and get an new lock. They can match it to your original key.
