Just comparing engine builders and came across this company. Their prices are reasonable and they seem to use high quality parts. Has anyone heard of these guys or know anything about thier engines. I am wanting to build a 383 to handle about 12-15lbs of boost. Thanks!

Karl is a good guys and can build a mean engine. If I didnt build my own stuff I would have one of his in my car already. He's working a 1200+hp blown LT1 now that will be making its way overseas when finished.

I don't know anything about his work, but Karl appears to be very knowledgable and helpful in his posting here. That is a strong plus, IMHO.

Only heard good things thus far. I have bought quite a few items from him and everything has been top-notch. He does have a backlog so email him to see if his timeframe fits within yours.

Karl is one of very few folks I would trust to build an engine for me. Known him for years thru the Impala forum and finally met him in person a few months ago, great guy. Bought some parts from him but not a motor at least not yet.

The man has 2 b-bodies that run 10s one NA even it is lightened signifigantly but only 2 NA 10 second LT1 b-bodies I know of and his is the faster of the two so he definetely does something right.

 

Personally I have not used Karl; however, people I trust have great things to say about him. I believe he's one of the GOOD GUYS
