If you get the GMPP 1.6 rollers, you will need a certian type of poly lock, its the same as a harland sharp rocker. I just put a set of 1.6 on my buddy's Z, and the guy he got them from sent the wrong poly locks, so my friend took the rockers to a local speed shop and got the right nuts. If you are talking about having to change studs to run the LT4 rockers that seems like a little bit of extra work, it really depends on the price, if its close, hell wait and get a set w/ 3/8 studs. We changed the valve springs to LT4 springs/locks/retainers. The car runs good, but there were a few other bolt on's added too....

Question If the Studs Just screw in!

That seems like the way to go! Get the right studs to match the Rockers! Not to hard to just screw in a new set of studs! I go tthe LT4 Rockers and Locks so I should be all set! RIGHT??? Thx, Lata, Ark

I've got some aftermarket valve covers so I had to modify my covers to fit. I checked the coil bind and it clears safely. However, the extention from the RR is beyond manufacturer specs for that spring. I'm still running stock but it is only a matter of time before it will fatigue.

Even LT4 springs are barely capable of sustaining the extra lift. So if you upgrade springs go with Some good Comp Cams ones

Yep, I'm planning on heads & cam this late summer... money is currently on target for a buildup.

They are barely capable of sustaining the extra lift when used with the LT4 hot cam and 1.6 rockers, Which is .525 lift and the springs are rated for .530. They come with the hot cam kit but fatigue fast. I ditched them and went with some much better GMPP ones. They would be fine with a stock cam through. Of course if your thinking of a bigger cam you might as well go with some higher grade, big lift springs right now and be done with it.
