harmonic balancer

when i put my harmonic balancer back on how am i supposed to know it is on right? i have no keyway to line up on my crankshaft that lets me have it lined up. can anyone help?

Turn the engine to #1 (or #6) TDC and install the hub with the mark at 12 o'clock.

Here is a little reference.

The pulley will mount on the hub only one way as the spokes of the hub are not symmetrical.
