Hardend Pushrods or not

I understand that in 1996 they switched to non-hardend pushrods. Someone however pointed out that the switch really took place sometime in mid 95. I just did a heads/cam and switched to non SA rockers and guide plates. I need to know if my pushrods need to be changed. Is here anyway to tell by vin, or visual inspection.

You'll need hardened P/R's if you're using guideplates.

With the money spent on the heads/cam you might as well just buy a new set of hardened pushrods. There are only about $25.

Cheap insurance and you know whats in your car.
