Hard starting and warm start misfiring...

just got a 97 t/a 6 speed. anybody experience hard starting sometimes and misfiring for the first few minutes of driving after a warm start. thinking it might be an opti issue but not too sure. any thoughts...

Its the opti mine did the same thing...... cracked 3 starters too!

Might be related to the coolant temp sensor. Have you scanned it for codes?

no check engine light but haven't tried scanning it yet.

car is BONE STOCK and i'm pretty sure it's still on the stock opti and fuel pump.

is scanning it my best bet? it runs pretty well most of the time just misfires after i've been driving it for a while, then shut it off and get back in it a few minutes later.
