Hard start and 10 MPG

Well this morning and yesterday morning i went to start the car it felt like the battery was really low barely turned over then it staerted right up. As i drove down the street i could see whit smoke comming out the back not a ton be more than normal but it stoped after i got on the highway and when i stoped at a gas station about 5 min down the road it wasnt smoking any more. I smelt the exhaust and it stunk of raw gas. I dont have cats but this time it was bad.
I turned her off went inside came out started her up and she started like a champ. (as i check milage i was only getting 10 mpg)
The only thing i can think og is a leaky injector filling the cyl with gas making it hard to start then all that gas being put into the exhaust causing it to smoke some right after start up.

I scanned the car with auto tap and this is what it showed on average for all fuel cells

LT fuel trim bank 1 -10.5 to -15
LT fuel trim bank 2 +1 to +3

short term trim for bank one stayed around - 3

02 sensors are brand new bosh

Now i had spilled water all over the car last week from driving with the radiator hose bleeder screw open. I know it hit the opti because i had to pull over because how bad it was misfireing after i closed it it started to run ok.

What should i lokk at to see why my car is running so rich and is so hard to start after it sits 12 hours?

Well, I have seen brand new O2s bad out of the box more than once, but if you can verify it is actually switching (going from 600 MV+ to 400MV- then it is working....It sounds like it is and it sound like there is a miss on the left side
How old are your plug wires?
water doesn't have to hit the opti to cause a miss, it could have grounded wires to the block/PS bracket, check for burnt wires on the left side, if you are due anyway replace the wires. even if there is no code it could be the cap/rotor portion of the opti. you can get that at autozone. Also make sure there is not water in the opti-harness connector on top of the opti. That should cause a code and it would definately cause hard starting. but not the left side rich thing.(although the rich thing could be un-related) also fried optical sensors should throw a code but again would not cause the rich on one side thing. You could pull plugs and look for singns of misfires and then check or replace those wires. hope that helps.

swap sides on the o2 sensors and see if the fuel trim changes from side to side.

could be a bad injector?

I am really starting to lean towards a leaky injector, i will check the oil for gas smell today and pull the injectors off the rail and look to see if any of them are leaking.

Will a leaky injector hurt part throtle and idel performance?

02's will not effect hard start since they are ignored untill closed loop.

start will a fuel presssure test to check for a leaking injector.

Do what you said above. Just pull the rails, pressurize the system, and see if any are leaking.

In answer to your question, YES it will hurt part throttle and idle performance. There's too much fuel being put into the mix.
