Is it hard for a shop to make a y pipe?

I am buying a set of slp headers and they do not come with a y. My uncle owns a muffler man, would it be hard for them to fab one up?
thanks
Brandon

Actually no.. and it can be cheaper, but keep in mind that you need to keep the bends to a minimum as 99% of the shops do not do mandrel bent.

I also was wondering about this. Ill be gettin PaceSetter long tubes soon, and i need a cat. theyre ypipe doesnt include a cat. Therefore, would it be easier to get one welded into the end of that Y ( Only single cat ) or get a shop to make me a custom Y with a aftermarket cat? Also, how bad is the stock cat for flow as comparded to an aftermarket one ?

I ordered two 3" mandrel bent U pieces from jegs, they are $20 a piece and can be cut to make a y-pipe. You will need the merge collector(the muffler shop might be able to make one) and the flanges.
