Hal Qa1

What all is required and recommended for the install. Probly gonna get them from thunder racing b/c they've been good to me so far. Is the front spring seat required for the install? I'm probly just gonna do the front for now. Any suggestions would help!

PS: Tools and such won't be a prob.

well im also doing the hal shocks install, heres my pile list:
hal shocks
bmr adj panhard+sfc
reloc brackets
tie rods
upper ball joints
sway bar poly links/bushings

im not using the front hal drag springs,im gonna be using the DMS springs so the front spring seats need modifying.a part of the seat has to be dremeled down to allow the spring to sit on the shock properly.injuneer has a nice install guide that i think u should check out.while your there i would do ball joints and tie rods.

i still have to order the springs and bmr upper a arms then its go time

A thin washer comes with the QA1's and sits between the shock height adjusting nut and the bottom shock mount. Apply anti-sieze grease between the washer and the adjusting nut. This is a must to be able to adjust your ride height after the spring is installed. Some guys install a thin bearing in this location. I've found the anti-sieze works just fine.

If you don't want to modify the spring seats, you can buy them from Thunder Racing for $45.
